BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Maria Arshad is currently working as a permanent Lecturer in the Department of Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Chenab, Gujrat, Pakistan. She has also served as a Visiting Lecturer at GIFT University, Gujranwala, and has previously been affiliated with the Gujranwala Institute of Medical and Emerging Sciences. In addition to her academic appointments, she possesses professional experience in clinical nutrition, where she has contributed to improving patient health outcomes through evidence-based dietary interventions. She has a strong interest in scientific writing and has published blogs and articles on international platforms. Her master’s research, entitled “Hepatoprotective Efficacy of Quinoa Seed Extract against Carbon Tetrachloride-Induced Liver Toxicity in a Rat Model,” has been published in the journal Food Science & Nutrition. She has organized and coordinated various academic and co-curricular activities for students, with a focus on promoting experiential learning. Additionally, she has actively participated in national and institutional seminars and workshops. Furthermore, she has also collaborated with various organizations in a social service capacity, contributing to community welfare initiatives, including fundraising and volunteer-based activities.
