NEED-BASED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
UChenab provides need-based financial assistance of up to 50% of tuition fee to students facing genuine financial hardship. Assessment is conducted by the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) through a structured process including document verification and an interview. There is no fixed entitlement — the assistance is determined case by case within the 50% ceiling.
The decision will be made based on the following:
- Interview of the student.
- The financial position of the student/parents/guardians.
- Validity of documents.

Need-Based Scholarship Maintenance and Reinstatement Criteria:
- Students admitted under the above need-based scholarship categories must maintain a minimum SGPA/CGPA of 3.00 to continue receiving the full scholarship percentage awarded at the time of admission.
- If a student's SGPA/CGPA falls below 3.00 but remains at or above 2.75, the scholarship award will be adjusted in accordance with the approved sliding-scale formula.
- If a student's SGPA/CGPA falls below 2.75, the scholarship will be discontinued.
- A student whose scholarship has been discontinued may apply for full reinstatement upon regaining a CGPA of 3.00 or above. However, a maximum of two scholarship reinstatements shall be permitted during the student's academic program.

An initial proposal encourages alumni to contribute a minimum of Rs. 5,000 annually to support students of their alma mater.
