BIOGRAPHY

Rizwan khan was awarded CAPES-Postgraduate scholarship by the Brazilian ministry of higher education in 2011. He received his PhD in Mathematics in 2016 from IM-UFRJ (INSTITUTO DE MATEMATICA Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro). In 2016 he joined the University of Peshawar, where he served as an assistant Professor (IPFP) and has offered various courses at MPhil and PhD including Differential Topology, Differential Geometry and Riemannian Geometry. His research is situated in the field of Differential Geometry, with a special focus on Geometric Theory of Foliations. He then joined University of Lahore (Gujrat) as an assistant professor in 2019. Rizwan khan offers several courses on Differential Geometry. He teaches the Riemannian Geometry, Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, Minimal Surfaces and Differential Geometry of Curves and Surfaces.
