BIOGRAPHY

UMAIR MUNEER BUTT received his BS. degree in CS from GIFT University, Pakistan, in 2012, and the MS. degree in CS from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2016. He is currently a Ph.D. Student with the School of Computer Sciences, University Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. He has more than eight years of teaching and research experience in data mining, machine learning, data science, and image processing. He has served as a research associate for more than five years and worked on different real-world applications. Recently, he secured a Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) from the Malaysian Government for crime predictions. He has authored several journals, conferences, and book chapters in well-reputed journals during his career. His current research interests include data science, data mining, and machine learning.
