BIOGRAPHY

I have established a strong background in teaching, research, academic leadership and management. I have 20 years of experience in teaching and research. I have been associated with some of the top universities in Pakistan over the years and have contributed to their course development and quality improvement through teaching and research endeavours, including my stint as the Head of Computer science at University of Lahore. I have also taught at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Ryerson University and University of Salford, UK. I have 2 post-docs in computer science, one from Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada (earlier Ryerson University) and another from University of Salford, Manchester, UK. I have authored 28 refereed articles with 17 of them being WoS, IF papers and the rest either internationally indexed or HEC approved.
I have successfully supervised theses of 25+ MSCS/M.Phil. students (including 5 at university of Victoria, Canada in collaboration with TRSM) and 150+ BSCS projects. I was the founding chief editor of Journal of Computation Sciences and Applications at Faculty of IT, University of Lahore (UOL), Chair IEEE ICACS 24, Chair WFAR-21 and am currently a Member of IEEE.
