BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Shahzad Shahabuddin Mithani is a senior Education and Development sector professional with over two decades of experience in Education Policy and Planning, Teacher Education, Monitoring & Evaluation, Research and Assessment, and Strategic Institutional Development. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Comparative and International Development from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Mithani has served in high-profile positions globally, including Chief of Party for USAID in the Kyrgyz Republic, Senior Director Education & Child Development for Save the Children in Pakistan, and Program Advisor for the Aga Khan Foundation. He has also worked as an embedded Technical Consultant for the World Bank providing strategic technical assistance on student learning assessments to the Pakistan Institute of Education, Federal Ministry of Education. Currently, he serves as a Faculty Research Support Consultant and mentor at the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED)
