Muhammad Asghar Warrich

Muhammad Asghar Warraich is an Advocate of the High Court and an Associate Professor at the Department of Law, The University of Chenab, Pakistan. With extensive experience in legal education and legal practice, he has dedicated his career to advancing the study and application of law through teaching, research, and professional advocacy. His academic approach combines practical courtroom experience with contemporary legal scholarship, enabling students to develop a strong understanding of both legal theory and practice. As an academic, Mr. Warraich teaches a range of core law courses and actively mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students in legal research, advocacy, and professional ethics. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he continues to engage in legal consultancy and provides expert legal opinions on diverse matters of law. His primary research interest lies in criminology, with particular emphasis on crime prevention, criminal justice reform, offender rehabilitation, victimology, and the relationship between law and society. He is especially interested in examining emerging forms of crime, evidence-based criminal justice policies, and comparative approaches to improving the effectiveness of Pakistan's criminal justice system.
