With a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from UHS and an MPhil in Microbiology from GCUF, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at COMSATS University Islamabad. My PhD project, funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan under the Faculty Development Program, focuses on the development of hydrogels and monoclonal antibodies against multidrug-resistant Candida auris. As part of my project, I worked at the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, to develop monoclonal antibodies against the cell wall proteins of Candida auris. With over five years of teaching experience at Riphah University and Islamabad Medical and Dental College, I have published 27 articles and authored two book chapters. Currently, I am working at the University of Chenab Gujrat.
