Dr. Rehan Afsar is a Lecturer in the University of Institute of Radiological Sciences & Medical Imaging Technology at The University of Lahore, where he teaches undergraduate courses in Diagnostic Medical Imaging. Dr. Rehan Afsar taught Medical students for 4 years in UOL. He received his Master’s degree in Medical ultrasound Technology and done his MS in Diagnostic medical ultrasound from UOL – Lahore, Pakistan. He has earned an MS degree in Public Health from University of Hazara. Dr. Rehan Afsar is an eminent researcher and published many articles in renowned journals on topics related to diagnostic medical ultrasound and Emerging Medical Imaging Technologies. He has supervised, & supervising tens of students for research work. His research focuses on the newer and better ways in medical imaging. He is also interested in artificial intelligence in medical imaging and digital pedagogies and the ways that online learning can be personalized and builds community. He believes all students bring unique strengths to Institution and that it is the job of educators to know students’ strengths and build on those to make learning meaningful, purposeful, and connected to their lives and communities. Dr. Rehan Afsar has two kids and has lived in Abbottabad, Lahore, and Chakwal. His favorite things to do include: hiking, cooking, reading (of course!), and technology. His goal is to learn as much about technology as possible!
