Faiza Tabassum joined the University of Chenab (UChenab) in March 2024 as a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy. Her professional journey in pharmacy began with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree from Government College University Faisalabad, where she was awarded the prestigious PEEF Scholarship in recognition of her academic potential. She further pursued her academic and professional development by completing an MPhil in Pharmacy Practice from Government College University Faisalabad. With a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care, Faiza has developed a particular interest in patient-centered medication management and the optimization of pharmacotherapy. During her clinical training and internships at renowned healthcare institutions, including Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology and Punjab Institute of Nuclear Medicine (PINUM), Faisalabad, she gained practical exposure to hospital and clinical pharmacy services. She has completed various certified clinical and pharmacy practice courses, enhancing her professional competencies and clinical knowledge. In her academic role, she has taught a diverse range of clinical and pharmacy practice subjects. Faiza has actively participated in and presented her academic and research work at various national conferences and scientific forums, providing her with opportunities to engage with researchers, healthcare professionals, and academics and to contribute to discussions on contemporary issues in pharmacy and healthcare. She has also participated in and organized health awareness campaigns, community outreach activities, and healthcare camps, promoting the responsible use of medicines and the role of pharmacists in improving patient care. She is particularly interested in identifying and preventing drug-related problems, optimizing medication therapy, and strengthening the integration of pharmacists into multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Through her teaching, clinical exposure, and research activities, she aims to contribute to the advancement of clinical pharmacy education, evidence-based practice, and improved patient outcomes.
