The University of Chenab successfully held the Board of Governors Meeting on 22nd June 2026, bringing together distinguished members, academic leaders, and governance representatives to discuss strategic priorities and future directions for the institution. The meeting aimed to strengthen the University’s commitment to academic excellence, effective governance, and sustainable institutional growth. Mr. Awais Rauf, worthy Chairman, Board of Governors, chaired the meeting in the presence of esteemed members and university leadership. Notable attendees included Mr. Naveed Akbar, Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors; Mr. Nasir Mahmood, Director, Chenab Education Pvt. Ltd.; Engr. Muhammad Raza Chohan, Rector; Prof. Dr. Ghulam Hussain, Pro-Rector; and Mr. Gohar Ayub, Registrar, The University of Chenab.
The gathering also welcomed Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Vice Chancellor, Government College Women University Faisalabad, and Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Gilani as special guests.
