Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management is an Under- Graduate Business Education course. It is specially designed for students who have a particular interest in the fastest growing area of business activity. BSAM is a full-time, four-year degree that ensures a professional career in contemporary national and international businesses, Aviation management, accountancy firms, investment banks, governments, multinational companies, financial institutions, and across other organizations of all sizes. BS Aviation Management degree is designed for students pursuing to lead and excel in the world of aviation
This undergraduate course will enhance your leadership skills alongside communication and team-working. You will be taught real-life case studies by the leading academics that are well connected with accountancy firms, combining their study with work experience.
The BS degree in Aviation Management is a four-year HEC approved designed program for students pursuing to lead and flourish in the world of aviation. Students gain insight into how airlines and airports operate and prepare themselves for management roles in the aviation industry locally and internationally. This degree will help students to advance their careers in aviation management and prosper in the constantly changing aviation environment.
In this program, students learn about the various characteristics of the aviation industry’s innovation, global networks, managerial challenges, and mechanism-based business management skills. The program explores all facades of aviation management, including airport design and development, aviation career development, flight operation management, air traffic management, aviation security, human factors in aviation, global airline management, aviation strategy and policy, aviation safety management, aviation security, and global aviation business strategies.

Modules
The approach in aviation education gives the student a great addition to other aviation programs by focusing on the skills and knowledge required for today’s rapidly growing aviation industry The Bachelor of Aviation Management is a four-year program. Year One introduces key skills necessary for the advanced knowledge of Aviation.
Year One module will also provide the study of human factors in aviation, aviation strategy, Statistics, and Business Analytics.
In year two, you will have the option to further plan your studies in either accounting, finance, or a combination of two with other module choices. Modules available will focus on the areas of Global environment business, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, Financial Marketing, and Entrepreneurial mindset.
Year three and four is a work placement module that will enable you to apply your skills in a real work setting. Other modules listed within years Three and four emphasize the study of airport design and development, aviation career development, flight operation management, air traffic management, and aviation security.
Teaching
Academic modules are taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops, online learning, and independent study. The number of modules studied varies per year and is comprised of the equivalent of a weekly two-three-hour lecture. You will be guided about study time preparing for classes, reading primary texts, and completing research projects.
The full-time Aviation Management course is delivered interactively and on a practical basis that provides a useful learning experience of the Aviation Industry. Auxiliary online materials are available and there will be various events and activities to further enhance the learning.
Assessment
All the modules are assessed by coursework, including individual assignments, case study analysis, projects, online quizzes, group work, and presentations.
Duration
The minimum duration for completion of a degree is four years. HEC allows a maximum period of seven years to complete bachelor’s degree requirements.
Entry Requirement
The eligibility criteria for Aviation Management (BS) degree are:
- Minimum 45% marks in HSSC (or equivalent) with any Subjects.
- Equivalence Certificate for O / A-Level and other qualification holders from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) Islamabad, Pakistan.
- Admission test administered by the university.
