The Master of Philosophy in Management Sciences is a blend of theory and research. The program is research-oriented and focuses on academic research with practical applications in business, industry, and real life. The Master of Philosophy in Management Sciences is a Postgraduate research degree program. The Faculty of Business Education will utilize various teaching methods such as classroom lectures, discussing research articles, hands on trainings, industry visits and field trips, guest speakers, project-based & problem-based learning, brainstorming, simulations, discussions, individual & group assignments, seminars & workshops, role-play, and self-study to educate students. Meanwhile, students can consult their respective tutors if they face problems during consultation hours. Additionally, the university provides them with a wide range of educational resources, both online and on-campus, to support student learning. Recommended textbooks from reputed publishers and pioneer authors in their fields are available in the university’s library to students without an extra charge.
All the modules are assessed by coursework, including individual assignments, real-business case studies, interview projects, online quizzes, group work, and poster presentations.

The minimum duration for completion of the MPhil degree is two years. HEC allows a maximum period of four years to complete the degree requirements.
Before applying for a degree, you should first check that we recognize your undergraduate education qualification. This can include:
- Pakistani Based Examinations:
- Level 6 – Bachelor (Hons) of 8-10 semesters with 124-140+ Credits Hours in relevant subject.
- Level 6 – MA/MSc (16 years) in relevant subject.
- The students with 16 years of non-business education will be required to do 30 to 36 credit hours of deficiency courses before they can become eligible for admission to MS/ M.Phil. program. The following courses are recommended to be successfully completed as the minimum requirement.

Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) administrated by the relevant department is mandatory for all postgraduate programs.
