- General Principles
The BS Sports Science and Physical Education program is based on a combination of theoretical study and practical application. Students are encouraged to engage in self-directed learning, clinical exposure, research activities, and continuous academic development. - Teaching Sessions
Formal teaching sessions are held regularly on working days, alongside practical training and fieldwork. Note:
- All sessions are supervised by qualified faculty.
- Each teaching activity is evaluated and graded by designated instructors.
- Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance.
- The Quality Assurance Department will monitor academic quality across all program components.
- Evaluation tools will ensure ongoing improvements in teaching effectiveness.
The assessment structure includes both theoretical examinations and practical evaluations for each subject. Students must demonstrate proficiency in both areas to advance through the program. A minimum of 50% marks is required in theory and practical exams independently.
The minimum duration for completing the degree is four years. HEC permits a maximum period of six years to fulfill all degree requirements.
12 years of education/HSSC/A-Level/Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. UCHENAB Entry Test is mandatory.
Candidates applying for the BS Sports Science and Physical Education program must hold recognized higher secondary qualifications. Acceptable academic backgrounds include:
- Pakistani Based Examinations:Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent in any discipline.
- British System:GCE A-Level (any subjects).
- International Baccalaureate (IB):International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (DP) with any subject combination awarded by the external examining body in Geneva, Switzerland.
Applicants must secure a minimum of 50% marks. Those holding A-Level, IB, or international qualifications must obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad, Pakistan. All applicants must also qualify for the university-administered admission test as part of the selection process.
